Tip #1 for Buying On-Trend yet Bargain Pieces


No-one said it had to be expensive.


When you think 'new trend' what springs to mind? To me it is key fabrics - anyone can wear a fabric and can style it to suit their body shape and personal style. It's much easier (in my opinion) to pick out and wear a trend's key fabric (whether its pattern or texture), rather than to try to change your whole wardrobe to fit in with a trend's new cut.

So, when I wanted a new piece to fit in with the gothic looks seen on the catwalk, I simply typed in 'lace' to ebay. Now that ticks the box of the 'new trend's key fabric', now to tick the 'bargain' box. To do this, I select 'ending soonest' on the sort by menu; allowing for you to really see how much you might end up paying for an item, and to quickly bag some brilliant bargins. Yes it may seem like it's impulse buying, but since you have already chosen what you are looking for it is more calculated shopping than most Saturday high-street shopping can ever be. Plus, it's likely to be cheaper.

So that's my first tip for buying on trend pieces at bargain prices ... what's your best thing you have ever bought from ebay?
